"My two week vacation is almost up – too soon the time has gone. Staying at the Ajijic Guest House has been a great treat – and a great intro to Ajijic. I’ve felt at ease and welcomed here ever since arriving. Gary the owner of the house greeted me at the door with the keys and has since proven to be a gracious host – giving lots of helpful info. The location is perfect – just a block from Lake Chapala and around the block from galleries and shops. Having access to my computer was a nice surprise. I’ve enjoyed lounging in the “solarium”, library and taking sun naps on the patio. The lovely interiors of Mexican tile and rich colors and plants make for a relaxing ambiance. To sum it all up – this is a great place to stay - lovely surroundings, convenient location at a reasonable price. Gary’s rental guest house is tops. "

We came to Ajijic to get the feel of the town and surrounding areas with the idea of retiring there one day. The town it self is beautiful it's like an artist community. And the streets are very safe to travel night or day. Many times we asked Gary's advice on restaurants and we found his advice was correct and we always found the food great. Never have we stayed anywhere that was more enjoyable than Gary's comfy, charming, well-appointed guest house. Checking e-mails at the crack of dawn, biking to Chapala, and getting tips on hiking trails were all extras. We LOVED it!! "

	"I have stayed in many houses in Ajijic (5). Gary?s is far and away the best- If rating I would say the home was ready when we checked in. The rooms were commodious and the mattress was very comfortable. There was a light for bed side reading and a control to turn off the overhead light when I was settled in bed. The remote controlled fan was a surprising touch. I was unable to use the Jacuzzi (handicapped) but there was plenty of hot water for showers and many towels. Rooms and house were very clean. The best for last GARY was a friendly, organized host. I'm coming back."
